Ethiopia Kochere
(exclusive of all taxes)
Ethiopian coffee is known for its bright, fruity and floral flavors, featuring higher acidity, a light to medium body, and complex flavor notes. The combination of high altitudes and nutrient-rich volcanic soils creates ideal conditions for producing coffee.
Grown in the Gedeo Zone of Ethiopia at altitudes ranging from 2,050 to 2,280 meters, this Grade 1 Heirloom coffee showcases the exceptional quality of Ethiopia's highlands. The coffee is naturally processed and dried on traditional African drying beds for 18-21 days under closely monitored conditions. During the day, cherries are raked regularly to ensure uniform drying, while protective covers shield them from intense sunlight and rainfall.
With fertile red-brown soil, abundant rainfall of 1,800-2,000 mm, and annual temperatures between 20-25°C, the region provides optimal conditions for coffee cultivation.
Freshness Matters
For the best flavor, grind your coffee just before brewing. Pre‑ground coffee can lose aroma and taste due to oxidation, and results may vary with water quality, brewing method, grind size, and technique. Freshly ground coffee delivers the cup as your roaster intended. Please note: Ground coffee is non‑refundable.
