About this Coffee
Grown in the Gedeo Zone of Ethiopia at altitudes ranging from 2,050 to 2,280 meters, this Grade 1 Heirloom coffee showcases the exceptional quality of Ethiopia's highlands. The coffee is naturally processed and dried on traditional African drying beds for 18-21 days under closely monitored conditions. During the day, cherries are raked regularly to ensure uniform drying, while protective covers shield them from intense sunlight and rainfall. With fertile red-brown soil, abundant rainfall of 1,800-2,000 mm, and annual temperatures between 20-25°C, the region provides optimal conditions for coffee cultivation.
