About this Coffee

The Menglian Natural (G040) from Yi Rong Coffee Manor in Yunnan, China, is a Catimor varietal grown at an altitude of 1,450 meters.

The coffee cherries are selectively harvested, ensuring that only fully ripe cherries are picked, which helps maintain consistency and maximizes the quality of every batch. Fresh spring water is used in the washing process, preserving the natural sweetness of the beans and contributing to a sweet, mellow finish. This coffee then undergoes a 20-day fermentation process followed by sun drying. The result is a coffee with a smooth and rich profile.

Founded in 1988, Yi Rong Coffee Manor is located in Menglian Prefecture, west of Pu'er City in Yunnan, China, near the foothills of the eastern Himalayas. The farm benefits from a subtropical monsoon climate at altitudes ranging from 1,300 to 1,600 meters, ideal for growing high-quality Arabica coffee. Yi Rong Coffee spans over 130 hectares, with over 60,000 trees producing 200 to 300 tons of coffee annually.

Freshness Matters

For the best flavor, grind your coffee just before brewing. Pre‑ground coffee can lose aroma and taste due to oxidation, and results may vary with water quality, brewing method, grind size, and technique. Freshly ground coffee delivers the cup as your roaster intended. Please note: Ground coffee is non‑refundable.
