About this Coffee
Grown at 1,800 meters above sea level in San Agustín, Huila, Colombia La Cereza showcases the precision and innovation of the La Cereza Farm and Research Center. This coffee, a blend of Caturra and Castillo varietals, undergoes a natural double fermentation sun-dry process, carefully developed under the expertise of Andrés Felipe Ospina, a renowned coffee biologist. La Cereza is at the forefront of specialty coffee research, pioneering the use of local microorganisms to enhance flavor complexity while prioritizing environmental sustainability. With a strong presence in global coffee competitions, including the Cup of Excellence, and a commitment to farmer education, La Cereza continues to push the boundaries of coffee excellence.
A Note on Ground Coffee
For the best flavor, grind your coffee just before brewing. Pre-ground coffee can lose aroma and taste due to oxidation, and results may vary with water quality, brewing method, grind size, and technique. Freshly ground coffee delivers the cup as your roaster intended. Please note: Ground coffee is non-refundable.
